Volunteering at Home

We love volunteers and literally would not be able to function without them.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Practicum or internships from local colleges and universities
• Groups coming in occasionally to cook, clean, organize etc.

Carwash

Game Tournaments - bingo, Xbox games

Collecting clothes, backpacks
-
"Dump run" twice/year
- Taking soda cans in for deposit

Car wash

• Individuals

Helping with crafts, tutoring, or other activities with the youth

Taking soda cans in for deposit

  General Volunteer Guidelines:

• Must be at least 21 years of age; some exceptions for practicum students
• Must have a comfort level with at-risk teens
• Must bring a non-judgmental attitude
• Ability to work in our informal atmosphere
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to engage youth in friendly manner
• Commitment to work at least 5 hours week unless occasional volunteering is preferred
• Must complete a Criminal Background Check
• Must meet first with Program Director
