Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is a two pronged program supporting childcare providers with training opportunities and resources so that childcare centers and staff stay up to date with best practices of care and assist parents seeking the right childcare for their needs. In addition, CCR&R assists migrant farm-workers pay for childcare so that parents maintain employment and children are in the appropriate environments.
Community Action Head Start is a ccomprehensive preschool program serving low-income children ages 3-5, and their families throughout Marion and Polk counties.
Community Resource Program (CRP) is a two pronged program consisting of rural resource centers and housing services (RENT, ARCHES, Tenant –Based Assistance, Housing Stabilization Program and Housing Collaborative).
Community Action Reentry Services (CARS) A part of the Marion County Reentry Initiative providing referral and coaching for the formerly incarcerated to successfully reenter our community from prison. We operate the DeMuniz Resource Center, a location providing on-site service and community referral.
Energy Services Program operates LIEAP (Low-Income Energy Assistance Program) to assist households with their energy bills.
Weatherization Services Program supports low-income clients with weatherization services to help lower energy usage and be more efficient with energy used.
HOME Youth & Resource Center (HYRC) Safe and supportive drop-in day center for homeless and disenfranchised street youth. Priority is to reconnect youth to stable living environment while providing vital immediate needs.
Nutrition First reimburses in-home certified, registered, and DHS listed family child care providers in Marion, Polk, Tillamook, Lincoln, Yamhill, Lane, Linn, and Benton counties for nutritious foods served to children.
