CCR&R provided trainings

Training is required to maintain licensing status with the Child Care Licensing Division, along with additional trainings on program management, child care business topics and more.

Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. children live in single-parent homes, which means child care is more important — and in higher demand — than ever before. Our Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) program bridges the gap between local providers and vital services. Child care professionals gain easy access to education programs and community resources, alongside our in-house assistance and professional development tools.

As part of these efforts, we believe in building supportive, data-driven work environments. We facilitate monthly meetings of peer-based groups, and our Child Care Provider Survey assesses local early learning professionals, finding areas for improvement while highlighting best practices.

Serving Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties.

25 of our center directors and lead staff are participating in a 60 hour Center Director Training Cohort facilitated by the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children. This opportunity helps us better equip our childcare providers, which in turn affects hundreds of children.
