Feeding Good Habits
Nutrition is a vital part of early childhood development. And for our partners in child care, we offer access to the Nutrition First Family Day Care Homes – Child and Adult Care Food Programs (FDCH CACFP). This federally-funded service partially reimburses the cost of healthy food, while promoting positive eating habits.
Working with our Nutrition First team, certified providers can get help planning meals, completing forms, and submitting their menu records for reimbursement. Under guidance from the Oregon Department of Education, our representatives will conduct quarterly visits to review meal service — and to help providers and their children with food education.
Available in Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Tillamook, Lincoln, Linn, Benton, Lane, Clackamas, Washington and Multnomah counties.
