Public Meeting Notice

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency (MWVCAA) provides public notice of all Board and Committee meetings in accordance with Oregon Public Meeting Law (ORS 192-610-192.690).

 

Meeting Information

  • Meeting dates, times, locations and agendas will be posted on this page at least 48 hours in advance of each meeting.
  • Special or Emergency meetings may be posted with shorter notice as permitted by law.
  • All meetings are open to the public unless an executive session is held in accordance with ORS 192.660.

MWVCAA will make a good-faith effort to provide an interpreter for persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing when the request is received at least 48 hours prior to a regularly scheduled meeting.

 

Public Participation and Grievances

MWVCAA welcomes public participation in its Board and Committee meetings. Individuals who wish to provide public comment may do so during the designated portion of the meeting, provided that the comment relates to an item on the published agenda. Written comments on agenda items may also be submitted in advance to sarah.herd@mwvcaa.org and must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time.

If a member of the public believes that MWVCAA has not followed required public meeting procedures, or wishes to file a complaint regarding meeting access, conduct, or transparency, they may submit a grievance in writing within 30 days of the meeting in question. Grievances may be directed to:

MWVCAA will review the grievance and provide written response within 21 days of receipt. Grievances involving civil rights, discrimination, or accessibility will be reviewed in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and referred to the appropriate compliance officer when required.
